As a new found expression of art, the Arch Stacking Chair is definitely alluring with its fresh, sophisticated look and feel.
Designer Aldo Ciabatti's penchant for experimental art forms using contemporary furniture has found yet another new found expression and new dimension in the Arch Stacking Chair. It is indeed quite experimental in nature because of the unusual elements involved and because of the queer display of pattern.
But this contemporary chair, built around an interesting Italian design, is definitely alluring with its fresh, sophisticated look and feel. The chair has a typical arch shaped backrest which is quite appealing. A significant amount of attention has been given to the pattern that predominantly defines the chair.
Look at the backrest, and you'll see that the top and bottom portions of the backrest reflect the same pattern. The flow of elements is even throughout the chair except for the seating area where a non-complementary shape breaks the silence of the flow. The pattern of arch on the top is also found at the bottom of the backrest.
